Kirby Risk Corporation has an IT SQL Developer opportunity for the right candidate. If you are experienced at designing and developing programming and web solutions, this position could be for you! The candidate will perform development tasks including design, programming, testing, trouble-shooting, documentation and training. The candidate will work closely with other IT team members, other areas of the business, and vendors to identify, prioritize, design and implement system improvements. The candidate must also keep pace with available technology and business requirements in order to identify solutions that provide business improvements. The candidate's background should include a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and/or equivalent work experience and 3+ years of proven experience in IT applications or systems. The candidate should possess a thorough understanding of business operations and processes. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft development tools and applications including Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS SQL reporting, SSIS Integration services, SSAS Analysis services, Visual Studio and .Net programming. The candidate must meet the specific vision requirements of close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The candidate must be able to talk or hear, both in person and by telephone and use hands repetitively to operate, finger, handle or feel and reach for standard office equipment.
